Composition

This page contains tutorials based in music and rhythm theory about how to compose songs, and for electronic music that includes a lot of sampling, glitching, warping, and other non-tradional techniques. Tutorials are divided into two categories: Theory and Tips, and Techniques. Theory and Tips tutorials are general tutorials about music theory and what processes a music producer needs to go through to get from a starting concept to a finished, polished, mastered track. Techniques are more specific ways of composition like sampling, glitching, and using MIDI controllers and devices to compose music.
